Booking Policy


Payment

a. The Company may require the Users attempting to make bookings/ reservations at the Accommodations to make full or part advance payment of the tariffs and other charges. The credit card, debit card, bank account or other similar mode of payment of the Users will be charged such full or part advance payment as indicated on the Accommodation’s final payment page on the Website at the time of the booking/reservation. The availability and the tariffs and other charges stated on the listing page and/or final payment page are indicative and the actual tariffs and availability can only be confirmed after The Ashoka Hotel has received the payment.

b. You hereby agree and acknowledge that the tariffs and other charges for Accommodations stated on the Website are subject to change at the respective Accommodation's discretion and The Ashoka Hotel shall not be responsible for any increase/change in the tariffs and other charges provided by Accommodation.

Booking Confirmation / Non-availability/ cancellation/ dishonour of booking/reservation

a. The check-in Voucher will be provided to you at least 36 hours prior to check-in or within 4 hours from the time of your making the payment to The Ashoka Hotel where the date of check-in is less than 48 hours from the time of your making the payment to The Ashoka Hotel. The time period stated above is a best effort estimate and The Ashoka Hotel shall not be liable due to non-provision of check-in Voucher within the stated time.

b. In case of the requested Accommodation not being available for your requested stay duration or in case of the cancellation/dishonouring of your confirmed booking by the Accommodation except in accordance with these Terms of Use, The Ashoka Hotel will make efforts to find other Accommodations in the same city that are available for the requested stay duration and you may be accordingly intimated. If you agree to take such alternate Accommodation (and agree to bear the increase in tariffs and other charges applicable thereto, if any), a new invoice will be generated for such alternate Accommodation and you will be deemed to have originally requested for such Accommodation and the provisions of these Terms of Use shall apply accordingly. If you decide to cancel such request for booking/reservation because of non-availability/cancellation/dishonouring of the requested Accommodation as above, then the whole amount paid by you to The Ashoka Hotel for such booking/reservation will be refunded to you as per our refund policy.

Hotel Policy

a. According to government regulations, a valid Photo ID has to be carried by every person above the age of 18 staying at the hotel. The identification proofs accepted are Drivers License, Voters Card, Passport, Ration Card. Without valid ID the guest will not be allowed to check in.

b. The primary guest checking in to the hotel must be at least 18 years of age. Children accompanying adults must be between 1-12 years.

c. The inclusion of extra bed with a booking is facilitated with a folding cot or a mattress as an extra bed.

d. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel. The standard check-in time is 2 PM and the standard check-out time is 12 PM.

e. The room tariff includes all taxes. The amount paid for the room does not include charges for optional services and facilities (such as room service, mini bar, snacks or telephone calls). These will be charged at the time of check-out.

f. The Ashoka Hotel will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.

g. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a 'couple' if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. The Ashoka Hotel will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.

h. The hotel reserves the right of admission for local residents. Accommodation can be denied to guests residing in the same city. The Ashoka Hotel will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.

i. For any update, User shall pay applicable cancellation/modification charges.

j. Modified bookings will be subject to availability and revised booking policy of the Hotel.

k. The cancellation/modification charges are standard and any waiver is on the hotel's discretion.
